Grupo Scout "433 Medalla Milagrosa"
History
The Scout Group "Medalla Milagrosa" (Miraculous Medal) was based in
July 4 of 1981 like member of the "Unión Scout Católicos Argentinos"
(Union of Argentinean Catholic Scouts). Their founders were: Raul Alvarez,
Graciela Giuli, Graciela Moreno, Beatriz Moreno, Raul Fuentes and Gladys Diaz.
The Scout Group was built next to the parish of "Ntra. Sra. de la
Medalla Milagrosa ", in charge of the parish priest Mario Tessarollo, at
the moment the ScoutGroup chaplain.
In his beginnings the Group
belonged to the Region West, District 1, which later became Morón Region.
In 1988, due to the opening of new Groups within the Region, the same one was
transformed into several Districts. Our Group passed to be part of the District
" San Francisco de Asís " until December 1st. of 1996 when the
associations Union Scouts Catolicos Argentine and Scouts Association of
Argentina were unified giving rise to the birth of SCOUTS OF ARGENTINA.
At the moment we integrated District 5 (Merlo - Moreno) of the Zone Buenos Aires
Northwest Nº 11
